Valentine’s Day is a traditional celebration of Anglo-Saxon countries and has been implemented in other countries throughout the twentieth century. Valentine’s Day Held on 14th February birthday of St.Valentine, Lovers express their love and affection with each other on this day.  Also on this day is a common tradition of giving roses to those people with whom you have a special affection.

In 1840 in Anglo-America, Esther Howland began selling the first mass Valentine postcards , known as “valentines” with symbols like a heart or Cupid.

Since the nineteenth century in England began the mass-produced of postcard exchange. This practice was added to give other gifts such as roses and chocolates, usually gifts from men to women. In the United States, this celebration also became associated with a platonic greeting of “Happy Valentine’s.

It is common to gift roses between the couple, friends and /or family, and color of the message conveys its message. For example, the red rose symbolizes love, the white represents peace and yellow and blue represents friendship.
